Morning Jog

After passing out at 5pm, I got a solid 12 hours of sleep and woke up at 5am ready for a brand new day. Hayden and I went on a morning jog (we’ll work our way up to a run eventually) in a huge park we’d found the day before while walking back from the storage place.

Look, Daddy Duck stuck around to help Mommy Duck raise the ducklings!

We call this one Spikey because he has a spike on his head - probably used to fend off attackers.

Unlike the parks in the United States, this park had tons of wild bird life just wandering around. It’s like they all think they’re some sort of protected wildlife or something, hmmph! But it was actually really cool to see all these different species of birds just hangin’ out together (they were probably friends.) We saw lots of mated birds (I had no idea they hung out with their mates?!) and families of birds.

At the end of our jog we kicked back on a little wooden platform overlooking the river. Hopefully we’ll keep doing this during our time in Adelaide!
